Real Info From Someone Who’s Actually There

I’m Ram — a licensed trekking guide with over 10 years leading treks across the Himalayas. Everest Base Camp, Manaslu Circuit, Annapurna, Langtang, Ghorepani — I’ve walked every route on this site, in every season.

I built Nepal Trek FAQ because I kept watching the same thing happen: trekkers arriving with outdated permit costs, wrong gear, and packages they’d overpaid for. Local guides — skilled, experienced people — earning a fraction of what agencies charge. This site exists to fix that. No booking commissions. No sponsored recommendations. Just what I know from the trail.

“I wanted trekkers to have the same information I give my own clients — before they ever book anything.”

What I Stand For

The principles behind every page on this site.

01

Honest Information

No sugarcoating. No sales pitch. Real, practical advice from someone who’s walked these trails in every season.

02

One Person, Real Experience

I’m one guide writing from my own experience. No content farm. No AI-generated filler. Just what I know from the trail.

03

Always Free

All information is free. No paywalls. No premium tiers. No subscription required. Just help, when you need it.

04

Local Knowledge

Based in Kathmandu, on the trails regularly. I know what’s happening on the ground right now — not what was true three years ago.

05

Kept Current

I update guides when routes change, permits shift, or teahouse prices go up. What’s here reflects what’s true today.

06

Open to Questions

If something’s unclear, reach out. This site exists to help — not just to publish and disappear.
